She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Cummings and Ivie Cummings; her former husband James Nathan Ray; her husband David Sherman; her children, Danny Ray, Ernest Crawford and Rosetta Ricker; her son-in-law Anthony Patterson; and her brothers, Herbert Roberts and Dick Roberts.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Crawford (Lorita) of Newport, James Ray (Lucinda) of Tuckerman, David Ray of Memphis, Tennessee, Shirley Patterson of Newport and Betty Wagster of Berryville. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
