It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Marie Hardaway (Newport, Arkansas), who passed away on May 10, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Ellis and Enola Williams; her siblings, Preston Ellis, Floyd Ellis, Robert Ellis and Dolly Thomas; and her granddaughters, Katrina Alcorn and Alvina Alcorn.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Hardaway Sr.; her sons, Frederick Hardaway (Melissa) of Minnesota, Michael Hardaway of Newport, Tony Hardaway (Danyelle) of Newport and Robert Hardaway Jr. of Newport; her stepson Randy Akins of Searcy; her daughters, Patricia Alcorn (Alvin) of Diaz, Vanessa Hardaway of Newport and Stephanie Hardaway of Newport; and her sister Enola Neal (Chester) of Ohio. She is also survived by twenty two grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
