He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Frank "H. F." and Grace Ann Abney (Caselman); his sister Ruthie Ann Abney; and his parents-in-law, Ernie Hodge and Alma Hodge.
He is survived by: his son Abney Fish Farms; his wife Sondra Lee Abney (Hodge); his children, Berry Alan Abney (Crystal) of Searcy and Sherrie Abney Eastin (Rhease) of Bald Knob; his grandsons, Matthew Ray Hanley (Kara) of Gourdneck and Benton Cohl Abney of Searcy; his great grandchildren, Kaylen Rae Hanley of Gourdneck and Matthew Kade Hanley of Gourdneck; his brother Robert Abney (Bobbie) of Belleville, MI; his nephew Doug Abney of Vilonia; his niece Debra Helton (Ken) of Belleville, MI; and his great-niece Felicia of Belleville, MI. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
