He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wayland, Sr. and Nellie Lucille Wayland (Masters); and his nephew Robbie Hindman. He is survived by: his wife Melody Wayland (Combs); his children, Carey Lampton (Stacey) of Siloam Springs, Brian Wayland of Jackson Heights and Lacey Wayland Vaulner (Billy) of Newport; his grandchildren, Luke Lampton, Caleb Lampton, Chris Lampton, Ellie Lampton, Lin Lampton, Charley Ray Vaulner, Gunner Maverick Wayland Vaulner, Sydney Sutton Elizabeth Vaulner and Nolan Nash Wayne Vaulner; his sister Nellie Jo Ahlf of Sherwood; his niece Lisa Dickins (Gary); his nephew Randy Hindman (Shannon); and his parents-in-law, Robert and Wanda Combs of Tuckerman. He is also survived by many great nieces, nephews, relatives, and a lifetime of friends.
