It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Barker (Newport, Arkansas), born in Tuckerman, Arkansas, who passed away on June 15, 2019, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Shelton Barker and Audrey Lucille Barker (Walker); and his sister Sue Ann Chambliss. He is survived by: his former spouse Miss Ivy Simpson; his grandson Zack; his wife Ivy Barker (Simpson); his sons, Joe Barker (Lori) of Newport and Scott Barker (Amber) of Tupelo; his grandson Tyler Barker of Newport; and his nephew Eddie Barker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.
