With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlene Altom (Newport, Arkansas), born in Grubbs, Arkansas, who passed away on December 11, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester E. Wymer and Odean Wymer (Moore); her grandparents, Omer "Chick" and Vina Wymer (Brewer); her son David Wayne Altom; and her sisters, Chestene Henderson and Wilma Thornton.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Carl "Buddy" Altom of Campbell Station; her daughter Carla Mae Sutton (Jeff) of Tuckerman; her granddaughter Magan Deshae Herring; her great grandchildren, Zackary Long of Texas, Audrey Grace Altom of Diaz, Justyce-Mae Sutton and Samuel Bryce Sutton of Tuckerman; and her brothers, Troy Wymer (Linda) of Jacksonville and Chester Ray Wymer (Ellen) of Searcy. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
