She was predeceased by: her parents, William Arthur and Lucy Koontz (Cooper); her husband Woodrow Wilson Carlton; her children, Gerald Carlton, Charlene Avery and Linda Sue Beard; and her siblings, Franklin Truman Koontz, Winfrey Lee Koontz and Betty Ann Koontz.
She is survived by: her sons, Rodney Carlton (Michelle) of Tiffin, Heath Carlton (Caroline) of Batesville, Levi Carlton (Tanaya) of Newport, W. N and Gary Carlton (Maria) of Cash; her grandchildren, Ashley Wells, Caleb Eaton, Brittany Wells, Lindlee Carlton, Emma Carlton and Lucy Carlton; her great grandchildren, Eli, Zayden and Zuri; and her close friend Joann McElyea. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of friends.
