It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Byrum Ahart (Newport, Arkansas), born in Grubbs, Arkansas, who passed away on September 18, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Norwood "Doc" Ahart and Nola McKee Ahart; and his brothers, Therrel Dean of James Thomas and Silva "S. H.". He is survived by: his sisters, Eula Mae Lewis and Othella Turner; his son-in-law James David Blair; his wife Joyce Ahart; his children, Steve Ahart of Springdale, Arkansas and Sherry Ahart Blair of Cabot, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Lindsey Ahart Capps (Jason), Steve Matthew Ahart (Bridget), Peyton Ahart (Amanda), Faith Blair Ealy (Cody), Jackson, Zoe Grace, Sophie Ann Capps, Elijah, Shiloh Ahart, Meleah, Ellie Ahart, Jet James and Leo Jax Ealy; and his sisters, Esther Maness of Newport and Ruthie Wagster of Benton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
