She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Craig and Theo Juanita Gillium Craig (Gillium); her husband Charles Shirley; her daughter Brenda Darlene Shirley; and her sisters, Sue Looney, Kay Looney, Patricia Stewart and Sherry Berry.

She is survived by: her children, Lesa Parmer (Scotty), Craig Shirley (Candace), Tim Shirley (Becky) and Geraldine Cook; her grandchildren, Jeremy Parmer (Kim), Megan Davis (Weldon), Jake Shirley, Claire Shirley House (Clayton) and Charlie Shirley; her great grandchildren, Lofton Davis and Pearce Davis; and her sisters, Doris Vance, Debbie Huey and Penny Lupkey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

For those wishing to make donations in honor of Brenda, the family suggests Arkansas Children's Hospital or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
