He was predeceased by: his parents, J. R. Vickers and Ethel Gertrude Blackburn; his wife Dona Vickers; and his son Billy Joe Vickers Jr.. He is survived by: his children, A. Douglas Vickers of Mammoth Springs, Carolyn Haycook (Harvey) of Lonoke, Marcia Mercer of Newport and JoAnn Engle (Mike) of Newark; and his siblings-in-law, Austin King (Dot) of Couch, Willis King (Carolyn) of El Paso, Sandy King of Mountain Home and Una Jo Vickers of Newport. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
