He was predeceased by: his parents, Okal A. "Bill" and Corrine Cowell (Masters); and his brothers, Carnell Cowell and Ronald Dean Cowell. He is survived by: his siblings, Leroy Cowell (Alice) of Newport, Gerald Cowell (Betty) of South Haven, Mississippi, Mary Lynn George (Kenneth) of Swifton and Lou Ann Haigwood of Jacksonport; and his sister-in-law Mary Gladys Cowell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of friends.
