He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Earl "Mickey" and Fannie Brannon (Chisholm). He is survived by: his children, Joby Brannon (Judy) of Newport, Arkansas and Carol Ann Darnell (Gerald) of Sanford, Florida; his brother Bobby Brannon (Coletta) of Augusta, Arkansas; his granddaughters, Josie Jordan Hardin of Tupelo and Caroline Elizabeth Darnell of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; and his great grandchildren, Stella Claire Hardin, Sawyer Grace Hardin and Joseph Jack Hardin, Jr..
