He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rainwater and Blanche Marie Rainwater (Barber); his significant other Pam Riley; his brother Roy Rainwater, Jr; and his grandson Nathan Boode.
He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Riley of Newark; and his grandchildren, Alicia Boode of Concord, Joseph Boode and Damieon Boode.
