With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathlene Pectol of Newark, Arkansas, who passed away on July 20, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Edmond Branscum and Meda Branscum (Young); her husband Clemons Eugene; and her siblings, Ulis Branscum, Archie Branscum, Logan Branscum, Marcus Edmond Branscum, John Ed Branscum, Evelene Branscum McBride, Faye Branscum Elumbaugh, Wanda Lee Branscum Lingo and May Elizabeth Branscum Fike.
She is survived by: her children, Rickey Allen Curtis (Rebecca) of Cornelia, Ernest Gene Pectol (Donna) of Magness, Arrita Curtis Barnes (Finis) of Newark and Janis Janette Curtis Shane of Batesville; her sister Emma J. Branscum Keever of Melbourne; and her grandchildren, Randy Shane (Jamie) of Batesville, Kyley Barnes (Christie) of Kansas City, Tonya Johnson (Kevin) of Batesville, Ashley Brickey (Jason) of Batesville, Shelley McCormick of Batesville, Meshell Gipson (Terry) of Newark, Alyssa Broadway (Jason) of Newark, Gregory Pectol (Candace) of Magness and Joshua Curtis (Carlan) of Cornelia, Georgia. She is also survived by twenty-nine great grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.
