He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Burford, Sr. and Fannie John Lovan; his wife Kathryn Russell Burford; and his sister Catherine Wilson. He is survived by: his children, John Burford (Mary) and Kay Earnest (Reggie); his grandchildren, Jamon Burford (Jill), Jeremy Burford (Cortney), Casey Earnest and Megan Earnest; and his great grandchildren, Kayla Burford, Allison Burford, Hayden Burford, Gavin Burford and Brynn Burford.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Smith-Morgan Cemetery or to Mt. Paron Primitive Baptist Church.
