He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Spears and Alma Lee Owens Spears; and his son Gary Spears. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Ann Kee Spears; his daughter Connie McClellan (Major) of New Edinburg; his grandchildren, Alaina Sims (Derrick), Kristen White (Gordon), Stephen McClellan (Brooklyn), Josh Spears (Erica), Blake Spears (Amber) and Jared Spears; and his daughter-in-law Melody Spears. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
