She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Lee Thompson and Eva Louise Bryant Thompson. She is survived by: her husband James W. Pennington; her children, Larry Pennington (Donna) of Star City, AR, Margaret Peek of New Edinburg, AR and James E. Pennington (Karen) of Mena, AR.; her grandchildren, Tanya Hill (Brad), Amanda Pennington (Cody), Emily Whitney (Tim) and Brianne Smith (Thomas); and her great grandchildren, Logan Smith, Landon Smith, Nevaeh Whitney, Chasidy Whitney, Isabella Smith and Ava Hill.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Veterans Museum, 210 N. Main St, Warren, AR 71671.
