He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Franklin and Mae Franklin (Hopkins). He is survived by: his sons, S. K. of Natural Dam and Brian Franklin of Natural Dam; and his siblings, Ruby Hester of Tulsa, Reba Koonce of Uniontown, Melinda Hendrix of Oklahoma, Carl of Cedarville, Loyd Franklin of Cedarville, Donald of Huntsville and Ronnie Franklin of Huntsville. He is also survived by two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
