He is survived by: his sons, Steven Ray Heckard of Fort Smith, Jason Heckard of Natural Dam and Bobby Heckard of Natural Dam; his sisters, Sheila Hager of Fort Smith and Sonja Suter of Fort Smith; his grandchildren, Savannah Franklin, Steven Heckard, Kylie Heckard, Zachary Heckard, Cameron St. John and Savanna St. John; and his great grandchildren, Hazel and Nola Franklin.
