He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. Evans and Frances Evans (Dodd). He is survived by: his sons, Kenneth Evans and Rodney Evans; his grandson Rhett Evans of Natural Dam; his daughters, Rebecca Evans of Fayetteville and Sherry Hanna of Van Buren; and his great grandchild Loretta West of Van Buren. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
