He is survived by: his wife Vickey Denny Rather of Murfreesboro; his children, Kristian Sorensen (Kenny) of Salem, OR, Joseph Rather of Murfreesboro, Jonathan Rather of Murfreesboro and Peter Oakley of Murfreesboro; his brothers, Lynn Rather (Cathy) of Delight and David Rather (Sylvia) of Delight; and his grandchildren, Brayden, Carson Oakley, Aubrey, Asher Sorensen, Kaydence (KK), Kamry and Emma Rather.
