She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Dolen D. Nelson; her children, Edith Newton of Mulberry, Glenda Patterson of Mulberry, Malesia Nelson of Mulberry, Vernon Nelson of Mulberry and Brian Nelson of Alma; and her grandsons, Christopher Swift, Henry Newton, Jeffrey Patterson, Dolen Patterson, Brian Nelson and Ryne Nelson. She was also cherished by eleven brothers and sisters; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
