She was predeceased by: her parents, Price Acord and Elsie Wright Acord; her spouse J. C. "Dock" Downs Jr.; and her grandchildren, Ashley Phillips, Colby Phillips and Jacy Meredith Coy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Waverland Watson of Watson, Kathy Downs of Dermott and Darlene Phillips of McGehee; her grandchildren, Anna Stephens of Gould, Lane Meredith of Redfield, Kyle Phillips of McGehee, Clay Vance of McGehee and Kaley Bishop of McGehee; and her sister Barbara Acord Toney of Searcy. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ocker Funeral Home of Alma Address (917 US-64, Alma, AR 72921). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
