He is survived by: his wife Marcia Newton; his children, Autumn Collingsworth (Jonathan) of Van Buren, Amy Rankins of Van Buren, Lisa Newton of Fort Smith, Charles Rose of Wister, OK, Nathan Rose (Ashley) of Fort Smith, Christopher Newton (Bill) of Fort Smith and Henry Newton of Mulberry; and his siblings, Betty Pinkerton, David Wood and Toughum Tedford. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
