He is survived by : his wife Beverly Welch; his children, Sue Ellen Taylor of Fallston, MD, Lorrie Ann Lovenstein of Perryville, MD, Vernie Ray Welch, Jr. of Bentonville and Mark Allen Welch; and his stepson Ross Hunt Logsdon of Pittsburgh, PA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
