It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonja Ann Byers of Mountainburg, Arkansas, born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 15, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Grady Boyett and Neva Gregory Boyett; her son Bradley Elam; her siblings, Barbara Smith, Tom Boyett and Freddy Boyett; and her niece Charlene.
She is survived by : her husband Michael Byers; her children, Sharon Osburn (Larry) of Fort Smith and Doug Elam of Fort Smith; her stepson Daniel Byers of Fort Smith; and her nephews, Alden Boyett and Allen Smith. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
