She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Rye and Ruth Marie Rye (Parker); her children, Angela Rae Knox, Loretta Knox, Billy Gene Knox and B. R. Knox, Jr.; and her siblings, Betty Walls, Velma LaRue, Aubrey Rye, Jr. of Bill Rye, R. B, Quincy Rye, Carlos Rye and Douglas Rye.
She is survived by: her brothers, Kenneth Rye of Mountainburg, Joe Dan Rye of Mountainburg and Dwight Rye of Hot Springs; and her grandchildren, Samantha Knox of Mountainburg, Billy Jack Williams of Van Buren, Benjamin Knox of Mountainburg, Aubrey Thomas of Mountainburg and Alicia Brammer of Mountainburg. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home (4100 Alma Hwy, Van Buren, AR 72956). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel (4100 Alma Hwy, Van Buren, AR 72956). A burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at the Evergreen Cemetery.
