It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Edwards of Mountainburg, Arkansas, born in Chicot, Arkansas, who passed away on May 23, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, R. Lee Smith and Odessa Smith (Swafford); and her brothers, Jerry Smith and Sonny Smith. She is survived by: her husband Sammy Edwards; her children, Carla Freeman of Mountainburg, Tina Gregory (Kenneth) of Mountainburg, Desary McGehee of Mountainburg and John Waltman (Becky Cox) of Mountainburg; her siblings, Barbara Edwards, Phyllis Welch, Deborah Raws, Teresa Waltman, Terry Lott, Larry Smith and Timmy Smith; her grandchildren, Rex Gregory, Walter Gregory, John Marcus Waltman and Byren Leach; and her great grandchildren, Hattie Wittenborn, Nala Wittenborn, Rylie Carney and Jase Hosak.
