He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Cleaves Dumas; his sister-in-law Barbara Reinert Dumas of Spearfish, SD; his nieces, Dacia Dumas Kacala of Bristow, VA and Danielle Dumas Mead (Jason) of Cheyenne, WY; his great-niece Whitney Mead; and his great-nephews, Tucker Mead and Cameron Kacala.
