She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Garrett and Teresa Kearney Garrett; her husband Melvin D. Fox; her son Walter C. Newlin; her siblings, Adygene De Paulo, Claytie Cole, Madge Lassiter and Clint Garrett; her grandson Walter L. Newlin; and her son-in-law Paul J. Crymes.
She is survived by: her children, Faunette Crymes of Mountain View, Stephen Fox of Prescott and Donald Fox (Marsha) of Rice Washington; and her sister Lila Watkins (Donald) of Fairwill, Texas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
