He was predeceased by: his sister Patricia Nishiuchi; his brother-in-law Roger Marshall; his father-in-law Wallace Henry; and his brother-in-law Joe Reed. He is survived by: his wife Tina Mitchell; his children, Steve Mitchell (Ashley) and Laurel Israel (Nick); his stepdaughters, Darcy Moser (Cameron) and Danielle Pitts (Michael); his mother Jeraldine Mitchell; his siblings, Paula Marshall and David Mitchell (Shelia); his brother-in-law Takumi Nishiuchi; his mother-in-law Glenda McGroom; his stepmother-in-law Peggy Henry; his siblings-in-law, Lisa Reed, Chris Henry (TK), Kevin Henry (Mandy) and Daryl McGroom (Debbie); and his grandchildren, Haleigh, Katelynn, Chloe, Lanie Mitchell, Kylie, Lezlie, Chase, Adalie, Acelie, Riggin Israel, Trinity, Blazeleigh Moser, Karson and Kaebrie Pitts. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
