He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Pitts, Sr. and Eva Wood Pitts; his sisters, Mary Lou McCumpsey and Freda Person; and his nephew Guy Kennemer.
He is survived by: his wife Frances; his children, Greg Pitts (late Judy), Lisa Waldrup (Johnny) and Beth Fogle (Ron); his grandchildren, Jacob Waldrup (Elizabeth), Mackenzie Waldrup, Wyatt Fogle and Morgan Fogle; his sister Nell Earles (David); and his siblings-in-law, JC Haley (Jean), Johnny Haley (Joyce), Christene Toone and Joyce Ragen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Smith Family Funeral Home (404 W Dewitt Henry Dr, Beebe, AR 72012). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home (404 W Dewitt Henry Dr, Beebe, AR 72012). A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at the Butlerville Cemetery (11249 AR-38, Ward, AR 72176).
