Pleasant, Arkansas; his wife Marie; his grandson Jacob Douglas Motes; and his siblings, James Whitfield, Bill Whitfield, Bob Whitfield, Daisy Majors, Dessie Stroud, Cecil Havron Whitfield and Ada Mae Whitfield.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Tracie Jadrich, Erin Duncan (Nathan), Abby Cooper Everett (Clint), Sam Cooper, Maggie Cooper Cannon (Lance), Emma Cooper Caraway (Kohl), Lucian Herrington (Emily), Jackson Herrington (Katie) and Rori Brooks (Tanner). He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren.
