He was predeceased by: his father Earnest Melton Hamilton; his son Shannon Paul Hamilton; and his siblings, Joe Hamilton, Dewayne Hamilton, Verna Dean Wright, Virginia Sandlin, Mary Phillips, Rosalie Jackson and Lela Mae Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Florice Hamilton; his daughter Brenda; his son-in-law Ray Huff; his grandchildren, Lynzie Dwello (Kord), Jennifer Delling (Jessie), Brooke Nelms (Collin), McKenzie Howard (Keaton), Carson Hamilton and Leanord Huff; his brother Ralph Hamilton; his sisters-in-law, Nancy Hamilton, Arvette Hamilton, Anna Laribe (Harry), Teresa Rowe (Tom) and Alberta Gibbs (Jay); his nephew Jody Hamilton; his close friend Tommy Buffington; his employee Floyd Jackson; and his motorcycle buddies, Scotty Dodd and Joel Weiler. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
