Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Gilbert leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Van and Grace Van. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Van; his children, Dana (Scott) and Ryan Van (Kimberly); and his sister Susan Herbeck. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 7 stepchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, Garland County Humane Society.
