He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Harris and Maude Fisher Harris; his wife Betty Harris; his daughter Lee Ann Andry; and his grandson Michael Dale Hickman.

He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Hickman (Ricky), Lisa Palmer (Mark), Lyn Hawthorne (Robert) and Amy Taylor (Whitney). He is also survived by six grandchildren, ten great- grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
