He is survived by: his wife Theresa Boekholder; his children, Deborah Irving (Paul) of Union Gap and William Boekholder (Kathy) of Freeport, IL.; his grandsons, Geoffrey Boekholder (Ashley) of Wisconsin, Zachary (Rachel) of Colorado and Benjamin Irving; his great grandchild Elinore Rose; his siblings, Gerald Boekholder (Judy), Jack Boekholder (Barbara), Nancy Brooks (Bill), Claire Kaiser (Randy) and Mary Margaret Boekholder; and his stepsiblings, Millie Hodapp and David McLaughlin (Ann).
Memorials may be made to Subiaco Abbey and St. Scholastica Monastery.
