He was predeceased by: his father Rufus McMackins; and his brother Barry McMackins. He is survived by: his mother Mary McMackins (Smith); his children, Adam McMackins and Abby Thomas (Kenneth); his grandchildren, Josiah, Gabriel Hartman, Annabelle, Isaiah McMackins, Jacob and Abigail Thomas; and his siblings, Bruce McMackins, Jeaquita Olson (Larry), Pamela Kingery (Don) and Vicki Morris (Jay). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
