He was predeceased by: his parents, John Shelton Conner and Margaret Betty Pavlik Conner; his wife Helen Hickman Conner; and his son-in-law John Rogers. He is survived by: his children, Mary Shollmier (Ed), Rob Conner (Mindy), Kelley Rogers and Penny Oxford (Kevin); his grandchildren, Samantha Conner, Grant Conner (Jessica), Cara Conner, Emma Rogers, Carter Rogers, David Rogers, Collin Oxford (Marlie), Conner Oxford and Cooper Oxford; his siblings, John, Rick Conner and Judy Tyler; and his pet ZuZu. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
He served as a volunteer firefighter, a little league coach and donated blood at every opportunity.
