He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Angus Mackercher and Mildred Marie Wright; his sister Christina Hamilton Mackercher Humann; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Chandler and Cecil Cooper.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen Annette Cooper; his children, Rachel and Peter III (Bridget Doherty); and his grandchildren, Malachi, Kale Mackercher-May of Mountain Home, AR, Mackenzie and Peter IV Mackercher of St. Louis, MO. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
