She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodford Shipley and Pansy Shipley (Moore); her husband Norman "Stormy" Cockrum; and her son Deon. She is survived by: her children, Bill Cockrum and Norma Cockrum; and her grandchildren, Derrick, Adriane and Dale.
