It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dollie Benton of Mountain Home, Arkansas, born in Flippin, Arkansas, who passed away on May 29, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, P. W. Huddleston and Polly McFarland Huddleston; her husband Jack E. Benton; and her siblings, Ruth Wood, Hardy Huddleston, Theo McNemar, Rachel Vanzandt, Guyla Wood, Walton Huddleston, Mary Nevalee Huddleston and Loyal Wayne Huddleston.
She is survived by: her sons, Bruce Benton (Tina) of Mountain Home and Roger Benton (Jeni) of Springfield Mo; her grandchildren, Carie Benton of Tulsa, OK and Michael Benton (Kim) of Gassville; her great grandchildren, Trey Horton, William Horton and Kasen Benton; her great great grandchild Lillian Pearl Horton; her sisters, Zelma Bay (Bill) of Findlay, OH and Thelma Ray (Hoyle) of Raytown, MO; and her friend Iola Marberry of Flippin Arkansas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.
