He was predeceased by: his father Wallace G. Patz; his wife Shawna Patz; his daughter Ashley Patz; his father-in-law Alex Bentley, Sr.; and his brother Gerald Patz.
He is survived by: his mother Joan Patz (Swette); his siblings, Greg Patz (Yvonne) and Cindy Salentine; his nephews, Mark and Michael; his sisters, Diane Serio and Jessica Frank; his niece Erica Adams (Kevin); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Charlie, Quinn and Judy Lunde (Todd); his brother-in-law Alex Bentley, Jr. (Brandi); his nieces and nephews, Gaige and Destiny Bentley; and also, Matt, Drew, Stephanie and Doris Bentley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
