He is survived by: his wife Velma Cowart (Wooten); his children, Lisa Guthrie (Daren) and Todd Cowart; his grandchildren, Trent Guthrie and Avery Guthrie; his siblings, Jack Cowart (Hazel), Gerry Cowart (Janet), Jim Cowart, Rick Cowart (Tracy), Carl Cowart (Sherry), Janice Roberts and Kathy Boyce; his uncle Mike Britt; his aunts, Mary Killian and Lonene Britt; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Wooten (Ann), Lonnie Wooten, Regina Brosgart (Brian) and Kim Cowart. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
