He was predeceased by: his father Dean Shults. He is survived by: his mother Elsie Shults; his siblings, Dean R. Shults (Susan) and Jodie Maynard (Brad); his nieces, Hannah Shults, Naomi Shults, Averie Maynard and Marlee Maynard; his aunts, Linda Testa of Wisconsin and Ann Shults of Jerusalem, Arkansas.; and his uncle Dan.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to the Buffalo River Foundation.
