Barbara J. Scherm Smith Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara J. Scherm Smith of Mountain Home, Arkansas, who passed away on October 12, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Scherm and Georgia Raab Scherm (Stuttgart); her husband Joe (Larry); her daughter Phyllis Cheshier; and her siblings, Charles (Tommy), Robert Scherm (Bobby) and Karen Owens.

She is survived by: her children, Rick Smith (Reca) of Mountain Home, Becki Smith (Billy) of Claremore, Okla and Amanda Worsham (Adam) of Viola; and her siblings, Sherry Hoffpauir, Janice Smith (Vernon "Bo") and Eddie Scherm (Ann). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many special in-laws, nieces and nephews.
