He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Waite and Elizabeth Waite (Cooper); his former wife Ruth C. Waite (Blood); his son Michael R. Waite; his granddaughter Laminda Waite Bass; his siblings, Edward E. Waite, William Warren Waite, Robert E. Waite, Donna Plotz and Carolyn Rosenburg; and his siblings-in-law, Veronica Waite, Rosie Waite, Jerry Plotz and Dennis Rosenburg.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Waite (Jones); his sister-in-law Mary Waite (Robert); his children, Gloria Hutto (Henry) of Theodore, Gregory Waite of Cedar Rapids and Marcia Crow (Sonny) of Marion, Iowa; and his stepchildren, James C. Jones (Kellie) of Mt. Vernon, Julie Nichols (Tim) and Kathy Cole (Larry). He is also survived by four grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, five step grandchildren, and five step great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
