Florence Powell Obituary

Florence Louise Powell being born July 19th, 1954. She passed peacefully from this life into the loving arms of our Lord, surrounded by her loving family early Monday morning, March 11th, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother Teddy and Norma Cunningham.

She is survived by her three children, James and Jessie Powell, Jana and son in love Tyrone Thomas. She also left behind five grandchildren, Lilly, Kyle, Scarlet, Priscilla, and Waylon; two great grandchildren, along with her siblings, Joe, Glenn, and Fred Cunningham, and Donna Anderson.

Florence earned her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Arkansas at Beebe and retired with the State of Arkansas with Conway Human Development Center.

A memorial in remembrance of Flo will be held noon on Saturday, March 16th at Oliver Cemetery, located in Mt. Vernon, Arkansas, officiated by close family and friend, Pastor Bobby Moore. Mother we will always carry your memory in our hearts. "Give you burdens to the Lord and He will take care of you.".
