She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence A Thornburg and Mildred Thornburg (Smith); her husband Dr. Joe David Burnett; and her brother Wilton Thornburg "Bud". She is survived by: her children, Leland Burnett (Kris), Clarence "Jim" Burnett (Gayle), David Burnett (Belinda) and Mary Qualls (Bruce). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
