He was predeceased by: his parents, William Barnett and Effie Haigwood Barnett; and his siblings, Carl Barnett, Coy Barnett, Roy Barnett, Jerry Barnett, Stella Ballard and Theda Cornish.
He is survived by: his wife Lorene Moser Barnett; his children, John Barnett (Edna) of Mount Pleasant, Jeannie Zirkle (Chris) of Mount Pleasant and Kim Emerson (Chris) of Batesville; his brother Gene Barnett of Batesville; his grandchildren, Matthew Zirkle, Kanesha Walker, Laura McGuire, Madison Barnett, Katlyn Barnett and Jemma Barnett; and his great grandchildren, Christopher Zirkle II, Charlotte Zirkle and Greyson Zirkle. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
